Scuderia Estoras Kicks Off the 2025 WCKC Championship in Extreme Conditions (Race 1)

The first round of the 2025 West Coast Karting Championship (WCKC) delivered an unforgettable start to the season. Rain poured down relentlessly, the cold winds made for tough conditions, and for half an hour, snow even fell on the track. Despite the wild weather, it felt great to be back racing, shaking off the winter rust, and putting our team’s hard work to the test.

Testing, Tuning, and New Challenges

Leading up to the race, Scuderia Estoras spent the week dialing in setups and collecting valuable data. This preparation paid off, especially with our new engine partner, Superpower Engines. Their engines proved to be incredibly strong and fast, and their support was top-tier—exactly what we need for a successful season.

This weekend also introduced a new challenge: LeVanto tires. The LeVanto Wets were an unknown variable for everyone, with no prior data to rely on. This meant our drivers had to adapt quickly, experimenting with pressures and setups in real time. It was a weekend of learning, and every lap helped us unlock more performance.

Race Highlights

Despite the unpredictable conditions, Scuderia Estoras had strong representation across multiple categories. Our drivers fought hard, gained crucial early-season points, and set the tone for what promises to be an exciting year ahead.

Ava Jude-Lilly faced a steep learning curve, moving to a new engine, new chassis, and new category all at once. Despite the challenge, she kept pushing forward, finishing P13 in Qualifying, the Pre-Final, and the Final. Every lap was a step forward, and this weekend laid a solid foundation for her season.

A Huge Thank You to Our Team and Supporters

A race weekend like this would not be possible without the dedication of so many people.

A massive thank you to the WCKC volunteers, who endured the cold, wet, and even snowy conditions to keep everything running smoothly. Your hard work does not go unnoticed.

To our sponsors—your support allows our drivers to compete at the highest level, and we are grateful for everything you do to make this possible.

And finally, a huge thank you to everyone at Scuderia Estoras—the mechanics, strategists, supporters, and families who work tirelessly behind the scenes to give our drivers the best shot at success.
