Scuderia Estoras had an exhilarating weekend at the Padholder Super Cup, a prominent US karting series hosted by the West Coast Kart Club (WCKC) at the renowned Greg Moore Raceway. The event featured a double-header format, attracting nearly 180 competitors from across the USA and Canada, making it a grand display of karting talent and fierce competition.
Saturday Race Day Highlights
Our team members delivered outstanding performances across various categories on Saturday, showcasing their skills and determination:
William Oliver: Secured an impressive P2 finish in the Sr. 206 category, demonstrating his competitive edge and strategic racing.
Dan Monteiro: Finished a solid P4 in the Shifter Heavy class, proving his ability to compete at a high level.
Teagan Kleine: Battled hard in the Jr II 206 category, finishing P15, showing great potential and determination despite facing tough competition.
Patrick Kleine: In his debut in the 4-stroke LO206 category, Patrick finished a commendable P6 in the 206 Masters class, marking a significant achievement in his first attempt.
Sunday Race Day Recap
Sunday brought even more excitement and memorable moments for Scuderia Estoras, as our drivers continued to perform remarkably:
Patrick Kleine: Continued to impress in his first weekend competing in the 4-stroke LO206 category, finishing P7 after engaging in intense midfield battles.
Teagan Kleine: Made a strong push up the field, overtaking competitors with a brave move in turn 6 before an off-track moment. Teagan's effort and determination were evident, providing an exhilarating show for the spectators.
William Oliver and Dylan Wasylkiw: Both drivers were at the forefront of the Sr. 206 category, with William leading most of the race. In the dramatic final moments, Dylan executed an epic pass to claim P1, while William finished in P4 after an intense battle. The race between the two was a spectacular display of skill and competitive spirit.
Reflecting on the Event
Although this cup race was not part of our championship series, it provided a fantastic experience for the entire team. Participating in the Padholder Super Cup allowed our drivers to compete against some of the best talent from the USA and Canada, enhancing their skills and providing valuable racing experience.
We are grateful to the NorthWest Karting Association (NWKA) and WCKC for organizing such a thrilling event at our home track. The weekend was filled with fun, fierce competition, and unforgettable moments that will be cherished by the team and supporters alike.
